仆人说，你兄弟来了。你父亲，因为得他无灾无病的回来，把牛犊宰了。
And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.
但你这个儿子，和娼妓吞尽了你的产业，他一来了，你倒为他宰了肥牛犊。
But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.
现在你们因我讲给你们的道，已经乾净了。
Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
你们若常在我里面，我的话也常在你们里面，凡你们所愿意的，祈求就给你们成就。
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
那时，使徒和长老并全教会，定意从他们中间拣选人，差他们和保罗，巴拿巴，同往安提阿去。所拣选的，就是称呼巴撒巴的犹大，和西拉，这两个人在弟兄中是作首领的。
Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren:
但保罗和巴拿巴，仍住在安提阿，和许多别人一同教训人，传主的道。
Paul also and Barnabas continued in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word of the Lord, with many others also.
从前所写的圣经都是为教训我们写的，叫我们因圣经所生的忍耐和安慰，可以得着盼望。
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
又有以赛亚说，将来有耶西的根，就是那兴起来要治理外邦的。外邦人要仰望他。
And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.
所以论到神的事我在基督耶稣里有可夸的。
I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God.
这固然是他们乐意的。其实也算是所欠的债。因外邦人，既然在他们属灵的好处上有分，就当把养身之物供给他们
It hath pleased them verily; and their debtors they are. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, their duty is also to minister unto them in carnal things.
